100% food grade non stick silicone material with heat resistant up to 446F. This easy to grip handle is made of an environmentally friendly tropical hardwood called parawood. Parawood is a light wood that comes from rubber trees which produce latex. Parawood grows in the amazon forest in Brazil as well as other areas and is commonly used in your household furniture! What makes parawood environmentally friendly? After cultivating their latex and at the end of their useful life these trees are harvested to become rubberwood lumber. This spatula is BPA FREE, will not be suffer erosion, and has a long service life. The flexible head features curved sides for scraping even hard to reach areas. Hand wash is recommended.
